I'm an artist living in the Pacific Northwest. I've been painting, drawing, and doodling for as long as I can remember, and became fascinated with pottery and sculpting after taking a ceramics course in college almost 20 years ago. My grandfather was a Master Carpenter who inspired my love of woodworking and all things handmade.

I earned my degree in English Linguistics and Creative Writing at the University of Houston. I spent the next two years in graduate school, focusing my research on humanities and cross-cultural studies, with a particular fascination for gender and identity in the visual arts.

I went on to practice as a trial lawyer for about 10 years before being inspired by my daughters to live the creative life of my dreams.
